Remember when Clarks shoes were the lowest of the low on your WANTED list of shoes. When your parents used to drag you kicking and screaming to the local Clarks store to get that practical and comfy pair of black school shoes you had been dreading wearing all summer. And from that moment on every day you looked at your feet and the pure practicality of your shoes and kicked them off under your desk at every opportunity you got.
This is how Clarks managed to make themselves a 'school shoe' brand name and so once their customer reached the age of 15, when they were allowed to voice their own opinion on what fabric concoction surrounded their toes, Clarks were most definitely NOT on the list of shoe shops you were about to visit.
WELL how times have changed. One of my friends bought a pair of snake skin pumps from Clarks last Summer and the compliments she received on them were endless- the peoples reactions when they found out they were Clarks were too priceless and look at this new Spring Summer look they have opted for- not too shabby huh. Go on make your parents happy… buy yourself that pair of Clarks, I mean they are very practical ….
