RJ Mitte for GAP |
You know when you see a familiar face and you know you know who they are and you know the name you are looking for to identify this mysterious character is somewhere in the mess of your brain, well this is exactly what happened to me when I saw the new GAP model campaign at the weekend. I KNEW, I JUST KNEW I knew who the guy with the hollow eyes and the fabulous cheekbones was but I just couldn't place my finger on his name.
After approximately 10 minutes of searching through the other junk and occasional useful information that clutters my brain *EIRIKA* I found it. I named this person as Walt Jr. form Breaking bad. With my friends still unconvinced I had produced the right name, in full glory I proceeded to prove myself right with the fact book of all fact books- Google "Walt jr. GAP model" and whadd'ya know there was the photo. YES. That kind of thing never happens to me. Remembering names is most definitely NOT my forte and so this was such a great moment for my name remembering reputation.
After wallowing in my success for a good 20 mins I started to get those disapproving sly glances from my friends so of course I stopped (externally) expressing my accomplishment with the world… I myself am still chuffed I worked out who it was.
Which brings me to my next point. Should looking at photoshoots really be like a puzzle in the back of a newspaper where the task is to work out who the expertly photoshopped character on the 10 ft tall advertisement actually is in real life ?!? Someone say photoshop….
