Seeing peach

peach peach peach peach PEACHHHHH.

The more I see this beautiful color, the faster I am counting down the days until my next hair appointment to get this peachy do back in action for summer. Oh yes the peachy pink hair is coming back with the sun and BOY I can't wait …

T-3 weeks.

Social Experiment

20 strangers were asked to kiss for the first time on camera… AWKWARD

Also what is up with the coupling of the older lady and the camp looking guy … anyone else feel a bit uneasy watching that ?!

RJ Mitte for GAP

You know when you see a familiar face and you know you know who they are and you know the name you are looking for to identify this mysterious character is somewhere in the mess of your brain, well this is exactly what happened to me when I saw the new GAP model campaign at the weekend. I KNEW, I JUST KNEW I knew who the guy with the hollow eyes and the fabulous cheekbones was but I just couldn't place my finger on his name.
After approximately 10 minutes of searching through the other junk and occasional useful information that clutters my brain *EIRIKA* I found it. I named this person as Walt Jr. form Breaking bad. With my friends still unconvinced I had produced the right name, in full glory I proceeded to prove myself right with the fact book of all fact books- Google "Walt jr. GAP model" and whadd'ya know there was the photo. YES. That kind of thing never happens to me. Remembering names is most definitely NOT my forte and so this was such a great moment for my name remembering reputation.
After wallowing in my success for a good 20 mins I started to get those disapproving sly glances from my friends so of course I stopped (externally) expressing my accomplishment with the world… I myself am still chuffed I worked out who it was.
Which brings me to my next point. Should looking at photoshoots really be like a puzzle in the back of a newspaper where the task is to work out who the expertly photoshopped character on the 10 ft tall advertisement actually is in real life ?!? Someone say photoshop….

"Happy Valentines day from the Internet"

Check out googles homepage and if you don't feel try up about being single after listening to all the heart warming stories… just wait until the last line from google, nothing like 'the internet' being the only person to wish you Happy Valentines day.

The iPad

Granted I'm a bit late to the party but I'm sitting here on my new iPad air and oh how I feel even more connected to the cyber world already! Deciding whether to type with two thumbs or one finger is something I'm yet to decide on and that's the most taxing part of this set up process, apple do do a good job making life easy for us techno dummies. I'm ready for my apple housepod and time transporter now please.

Really?

Seriously American Apparel in an email ?!

Recently every time I get an email from American Apparel I find myself with my curser hovering over my 'delete email' button because yes I open my emails at work … doesn't everyone ?! Therefore WHY does American Apparel insist on sending emails which are borderline pornographic and so inappropriate for 9 am eyes.
Sex sells I know but I think American Apparel are getting slightly confused as to whether they are supplying clothing for the respectable, fashionable young female… or the girl standing on the street corner at 3am in the morning flashing to passing cars. Their emails feel like they should come with an X rating- talk about easy access material for young boys with certain blocked websties by their parents.
These e-blasts are not catching my attention for the right reason and if  they keep going the way they are going I can tell you the unsubscribe push is coming in a couple of emails time… I wonder if there has been a recent new hiring in the advertising department maybe… a male figure in a dead end marriage springs to mind.

Marry me Google …?

Every wondered what life would be like without Google. How many times a day you say, or think in your head "I'll google that" or how many fashion collections have you easily sat front row at because you typed the designers name into Google. In this day an age it's sometimes scary to think about the future- are we all going to be sitting in individual pods dating, working, sleeping online. Think of something that would be arguably impossible to live without whether it be inconvenient or just bloody annoying, does Google fit that bill… I know people have legally married the Eiffel Tower and the Great wall of China but has anyone legally married GOOGLE yet? Because if not … SHOTGUN !!!

Just imagine if Google was a person, how big would their head be !!… One thing we all know is that if Google was a woman, Google maps would be a hell of a lot easier to use right.

Dare me to say Google one more time …go on … GOOGLE.
