I am a BIG lover of accessorising and a firm believer that jewelry can make an outfit. Why wear one ring when you can wear 5 ?!?

The legend that is Iris Apfel
The silver haired fashion icon Iris Apfel is an idol and amazement to me. At the tender age of 90 her love for life and ambitious personality has resulted in a recent collaboration with Mac makeup.
Iris herself, a fan of the bold lips and dark eyes, has worked with the Mac team to create a range of lipsticks, eyeshadows and nail varnishes suited to her taste. The range is surprisingly contemporary with a bold mix of statement colours.
Mac says the range is 'a colour collection inspired by a rare bird who has always been ahead of her time'.
With dark eyes and bright lips being my favourite type of make-up Iris has captured the essence of fun youths today. I could only dream of being as successful and positive as her in later life. A true inspiration and style icon... and I definitely want to be rocking a pair of those glasses at the age of 90.

Central St Martins graduate Han Chong had a singular vision when creating his online womenswear label - modern style without the hefty investment. Inspired by bloggers and their self- assembled looks, each look has a feel of ease and luxury.
Ive pulled out my favourite styles from the look book- I have my eye on the leather quilted shorts and the white crop top.

Un afraid to make a statement designers such as Mary Katrantzou have created a flurry of prints to create striking collections hard to resist- Even menswear is making an impact in the print scene. With James Long taking inspiration from previous decades as well as incorporating a touch of animal magic.
With my dissertation hand in rapidly approaching- 'The revival of the metrosexual male' - I am going to be sick of the sight of menswear soon!

Versace for H&M
With an obvious Spring summer collection and a strong theme of fruits Versace have managed to achieve a fun, vibrant and just about ware able collection for H&M.
The womenswear collection includes dresses, sleepwear and accessories.
The collection will be available online from 19th January so get your credit cards at the ready and go pick buy yourselves some holiday pieces for the summer.

The bold- out there- powerful fashion statements made by Jessie J makes her one of my style icons.
Never scared to be different Jessie J is able to pull off any fashion statement- maybe its the hair cut that gives her that quirky edge- whatever it is .. it definitely works.
Portraying an edgy and powerful look- she is an inspiration to me and girls everywhere- her stylist should be proud!

A Great Expectation
Fresh from playing Pip in BBC ones adaption of Great Expectations Douglas Booth is the name on everyones lips (well every girls lips anyway)
Booth has previously modelled for Burberry along side Emma Watson and when the chiselled 19 year old was expertly cast to play Pip I'm sure the expected ratings went dramatically skywards.
His model looks came under criticism for being to "pretty" to play the role of pip... but I wouldn't be surprised if that comment stemmed from a bit of male jealousy. Modelling or film is fine as long as he makes it onto our screens some how.
Douglas is set to play Romeo in Carlo Carlei's upcoming film adaption fo Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, something I'm sure most girls are eagerly awaiting.

Nicole Farhi windows
A few images of the window displays I assisted with at Nicole Farhi. The windows were based on designs by London College of Fashion student Daniel Purnell.
Working with Jamie Shouli at Nicole Farhi and the team behind the scenes, I helped visualise, make, construct and display the design in the stores.
The designs were to celebrate the opening of the new store on Conduit street and also for London Fashion week 2011.

Imaginefashion.com is a website which allows you to browse a selection of the top window displays around. From Harvey Nichols to Louis Vuitton there is a huge range of photos and designers to choose from. Great inspiration and a great idea. You can even create an account and save your favourite designs.
I have been lucky enough to help out with one of Nicole Farhi's window displays on Conduit Street in London and I know just how much hard work goes into making them look so impressive.

Look-book
I have selected a few of my favourite looks from the Topshop Surf Luxe range. I am a big lover of the printed legging and contrasting prints and these looks portray that look perfectly. I will definitely be on the look out for these items in store.

I have just discovered my first new designer of 2012. Anne Lombard, with her clothing range 'Oh My Love'
Combining her hugh wealth of fashion knowledge and her French roots she manages to create a range of bang on trend and affordable designs perfect for the new year. I know I will be keeping a close eye on her collections when re-styling my summer wardrobe.
