So here we go guys the final images for my fashion collection "Who said romance is dead?"I couldn't be more happy with how they have turned out. The photo shoot went swimmingly- the weather was kind to us, hair and make up went without a hitch and my model looked phenomenal in my designs. As you may know I study printed textiles at university. I have drawn and designed these prints then structured them to work on a garment, and as a collection, and then had the designs printed digitally so I could make them up. The project is around the title "Who said romance is dead?" allowing me to draw from romantic flowers in their alive and dead and dried forms.I wanted to create a current, desirable and wearable edgy collection aimed at the high end women's fashion market and I think I have definitely fulfilled them. Old Spitalfields Market
Having gone up to London by tube on a scorching hot day would not put anyone in the best of moods, so after dropping off my fabrics to be made into garments for my show in 3 weeks (EEKKK) I decided I deserved to have a look round Old Spitalfields Market. Coincidentally I happened to go on the day of the Vintage fair. The market was amazing- so many one off pieces waiting to be snapped up by the stylish buyer.
The market is on every day with the vintage market on every Thursday and the last Saturday of every month. I would 100% recommend you go take a look ! I could spend a whole day there searching for bargains !!
