Emma Cook

A short film showing Emma Cooks A/W collection, a witty, modern fun take on how to show your work making prints come to life and a model taken into a fantasy wold. Very clever and inspiring.

"I have always worked with Collage, but more so lately. We focus mainly on print, and the prints are usually collaged from photos we have taken or old found images"- Emma Cook.

Bill Cunningham

Known as the original New York street fashion photographer the 82 year old has been documenting the streets of New York City every day for the past 40-50 years. Cunningham has a keen eye for capturing fashion and a determination which sees him do pretty much anything for the desired shot.

'I'm not interested in celebrities with their free dresses, I'm interested in the clothes."

Some say street fashion photography started when Bull Cunningham got his first camera.

"Jade's Magicopolis"

She's done it again.
Once again Hermione has created a collection of superb printed floral designs and a stunning collation of garments which I am sure will catapult her name furthur up the status ladder of printed textiles.
Hermione's beautiful Spring Summer 13 collection continues to show that she knows exactly what she is doing when it comes to color placement and use of imagery. Her garments are flawless, wearable and desirable and at such a young age its extremely impressive to have such a mature approach to her collections.

A photographic printed paradise.

Mary Katrantzou never fails to amaze me with every garment she sends down the catwalk each season. This fall collection sees Mary moving away from her original style of bold colorful, vibrant prints and in a more muted, photographic direction. Mary has been a leader in color and print since she burst onto the scene in London in 2009 so this Fall 13 has been a shock to many a faithful Katrantzou customer, forcing them to stray from their safety nets and switch up their fashion in a way they may never have thought they would.

"I wanted to step back from color and print and contemplate shapes and silhouettes. It was important for me to take that time"

In my opinion the brave change has not only caught many more fashion followers attention but shown a different side of the Katrantzou brand, a much edgier, moodier and intriguing side which I can't wait to see more of in the future.
