Brandy Melville

518 Broadway

The crocheted decorations and jumble sale, vintage displays are what drew me into Brandy Melville, even the tree stump they used as a door stop caught my attention. With an Urban Outfitters- hand crafted- vintage experience Brandy Melville offers a stylish lead to street wear at a much more attractive price than its competitors. Also offering timeless pieces for the home and perfect present opportunities- this was a great find with Christmas just around the corner.

It was safe to say its popularity was evident by looking at the size of the que to the till, this place has obviously not gone undiscovered by New Yorkers and tourists alike.

Located in a number of countries including New York -518 Broadway and London- 33 Kings Road its definitely worth a look.

For more information take a look at their website- you might even get tempted online ...

FANCY this...

One thing I was very excited about when I found out I was going to be living in America for a year or so was the fact I would soon be able to order from The Fancy blog !! If you haven't stumbled across this little gem online already this is your lucky day !!

Offering everything you could ever want in a fashion forward/ style conscious world. From cars to pens to animal clothing the blog is the perfect place for presents, treats and just to soak up the pictures of some of the coolest items around. The website even has its own team dedicated to personally finding you an appropriate present for someone special.

One of the best things about The Fancy is the 'Fancy Box' which costs $30 and includes surprise items from the blog. This box can be ordered monthly or subscribed to so being the huge gadget and fashion lover I am I had to try it and was extremely excited when it arrived.

My box contained - See through poker face cards- An 'udderly' entertaining cow udder jug- Vampire fangs ice tray - Chopstick drumsticks - An armed notebook to record plans of world domination - A carve your own postcard.

I would definitely suggest giving it a go and I may have just ordered my second Fancy box for next month .... It's like having a monthly birthday !!

Fort Green Flea market- Brooklyn

Camera obsession

Fort Greet flea market

Vintage Levis denim jacket

Through hurricane or snow blizzard nothing is going to stop me from getting to the vintage flea markets at the weekend.

This weekend we ventured to Fort Green flea market in Brooklyn. A vintage oversized Levis denim jacket with burgundy quilted sleeves was screaming my name on the rail as well as some retro circle sunglasses... I may look like a throw back from the 90's when I wear both items but that gives me an excuse to listen to Boyzone and the Spice Girls and be proud ... your never to old to re-live those years !

For more information about the market check out the website- your most definitely missing out if you don't....
