At first glance you might think these photos are just a skillful use of the photo montaging technique but at a closer look you find out they are not what you first expect. Pakayla Biehn skillfully uses her talent of painting realistic florals and combines this with her favorite photographs (note the paintbrush marks) - the result beautiful, whimsical, floral images that transport your mind elsewhere. Making a daisy chain and putting it in your hair has probably never been as fashionable as it is about to be. With major fashion houses such as Chanel, Prada and Moschino contributing to the daisy trend the prints can be seen all over the Resort runway, the little flower is making a big fashion statement.
My favorite collection has to be Moschino Cheap & Chic Cruise/ Resort 2014. The sixties meets the bohemian girl in a field of daisies, very chic ... but maybe not as cheap as one had hoped.

We have been experimenting with digital printing in the office recently and I thought we had achieved some creditable designs... that is until I saw Mary Katrantzou's Resort 2014 Collection ... wow.
Every collection I fall more and more head over heels in love with her work. Prints being me thing, her work is to die for spot on every single season.
This collection encapsulates numerous techniques and photography effects to create stunning and wearable designs. Her placements are so clever the way the eye is drawn to different sections of the body creating illusion and an unexpected three dimensional view.
Just amazing, credit to her and her team !!
